After pulling the engine.... 140-160

I finally pulled the torque converter on the 74 b20 yesterday and let me emphasise it was from a 1974 145 wagon I pulled the engine. I know b/c I cut all the k-jet fuel lines to get it out...plus it did say 1974 inside the door, and it had the later plastic almost 240ish dash. However, like I said, I removed the torque converter to find....six bolts! I'm pissed...I thought there were going to be eight! I guess one of the fifty previous owners decieded to do some engine work. So here's my list of strange items so far on this "74" ; Front and rear neoprene seals, six bolt crank, and steel timing gears. Are 74 blocks marked with a casting number as to descern it from others? I think I may have pulled a pre-74 bottom end from a 74.
