very strange
this is not the nicest 93 245...was rebuilt three years ago after being hit on the front driver's side. USA model 120k auto

the lights have always been a little too dim...i was driving along, the engine sputtered; all the idiot lights came on (like when the alternator dies, but much much brighter) and then went right off. i continued on my seventy mile trip, and when i parked the car, two idiot lights stayed on even after turning the engine off.

24 hours later (after a day of normal driving), i realized that the car was acting like it was running off the battery and was dying. it then wouldnt re-start, until it sat for two hours. then we limped home using no lights...charged the battery up and have driven it a few miles since.

bad voltage regulator ? short in the wiring harness ?
anyone see exactly these symptoms before ?
