Is the car getting enough O2? Clogged air filter? I didn't see anything about the AMM on the list of items you checked. I tried to run my 740 without it one time as an experiment. It is supposed to go into limp home mode similar to what you described. I however feel that I would have had trouble getting out of the drive without it connected. I don't know if the AMM applies to the regina system or not, so please excuse my comment if off base.
