You seem to have hit on something here. I truly believe in a product with a long life, especially from an environmental and reduced maintenance cost standpoint. However, when the product can only perform in a specific environment (i.e. a (nearly) completely air free system) and any deviation from that environment destroys the very thing it is supposed to protect....then I have a problem. I appreciate your insight. Based on that, I will stick to the annual system flush/refill at my local mechanic. It has worked for the last 12 years...no need to tempt fate now.
Thanks again.
