I would choose the 850 simply because stepping down from the zippy turbo to a sluggish 240 will probably be undesirable to you. The 850 is, as I understand, more prone to all sorts of failure (a mechanic informs me that the serpentine belt is prone to breakage, resulting in a broken engine), a lot of which is electronic (the microprocessor controlled tranny, for instance). Despite this, I would still go with the 850. The complexity of an 850's engine is probably comperable to that of a common honda which lots of people work on regularly.
