Random Stalling Problem 200 1986

Don't overlook the crank sensor cable...found mine to be cracked last weekend, causing the same symtoms...it seems that when they age (89 244), they 'bleed' voltage from other sources, the sensor gets 'confused' and shuts down fuel supply, though the car may actually idle a bit...apply gas and it stalls...just a thought...the sensor plug fits into a clip on the firewall right behind the valve cover...good luck..DJ
