Thanks for everyone's response on finding that relay. I resodered a bad connection and now the compressor turns on with no problems. But the AC just barely works. When I had it all checked out the only problem they found was that the compressor wasn't being started so I thought once that was fixed Id be feeling cooool air.

So this is what happens..... you can hear the compressor kick in when the ac button is depressed, then the air barely gets cool and the car goes through these laborious up and down idles of 5 or so rpms every so often (I guess that's the compressor cycling on and off??) but it even gets to a point where it almost stalls and the SRS light comes on?
