Conversion Ideas For A 79 264GL 200

Been click around the brickboard and have read alot about conversions for a PRV V-6 to a GM V-8, 5.0L Ford, or even a B230.

My question to ANYBODY is what conversions do you recommend for this aging brick? She is in great shape body wise and I have been doing a good job of restoring the interior and other small features that came with the 264GL model. I do plan to keep the B27F running until it needs major work, (which might be soon), which will also give me some time to research any conversion ideas dancing in my head.

Any and all advice regarding any conversions would be fantastic. I have heard of the JTR and Converse conversions and I must say that I am tickled at the idea. But never the less there may be a more reliable and affordable alternative out there.

My main things for the conversion would be a balance of reliability, power, and more over the difficulty of the conversion itself. I have a big garage and lots of time to convert this baby when the time comes. I would like to make as little ajustments to the car itself so I may preserve the Volvo in this beauty. Anyways I would like to thank you all in advance for the information and your time. Sorry for the novel and thanks for reading through it.
