Stalling on startup 200 1989

My 89 240 wagon runs beautifully except when you first start it up. It turns over and catches fine but unless you floor the gas it will usually stall immediately. After this it is fine. Any idea what my problem might be? I just put new plugs in it (and the leads were changed not that long ago).
