LH 2.4 - B230 motor. Meaning, please.

Thanks for all the input on my last post about the 90 740, guys.

The owner has come down to 4500. I am going to look at it soon. It is said to be perfect in every way, garage kept. It is a reddish color outside (almost like deep lipstick), and has the dual fabric design inside in grey.

Now my question here.

I got the VIN, and the motor designates out as B230F (LH 2.4). What is the LH 2.4 ? Anyone know ??
