I just got a '79 240 wagon that has these symptoms. It runs fine when cold but after a few minutes it starts "bucking". It surges wildly under load and is basically not drivable, but idles fine and operates smoothly when not under acceleration. The fuel pressure regulator and fuel distributor were replaced with no success, I don't know what else has been tried. Any ideas?
