Need Help with a heater/a/c blower problem 700 1990

I have a 1990 745 Turbo 170K. The a/c blower does not blow as fast as I think it should. In fact the blower in my 1990 740 puts out more air than the one in my 745. I have replaced the blower motor and the resistor behind the glove box in hope that these 2 changes would give me a higher volume of air coming out of the a/c ducts. I even swapped the fan switches in the 2 cars and it made no difference. Does anyone have any ideas on how to increase the amount of air coming out of the a/c ducts?
