Need to know engine model 700 1989

I have a 1989 740 GLE 16 valve engine in my car and I want to know if the engine model number is B230F.

Cause I saw on the IPD (IDPUSA.Com) site that I could get a new adjustable cam and a new cam shaft for a B230F.

I think my engine is a B230F (I hope so).
Cause if it was I would need two adjustable cams and two new cam shafts.

Has anyone tried this or no's if it will work.
