760gle flex disc? 700

My 90' 760 V-6 shudders when I accelerate hard from a stop or try to tackle a hill from a stop. Is this related to a flex disc in the driveshaft? My 87' did the same thing for 60k miles and we never knew what it was. Any advice would be great.

Also does anyone know how to adjust the valves on the 90' V-6? Thanks.
