The intake of a turbo engine is going to fluctuate between positive pressure and vacuum depending on throttle position. So yes, some particulate matter from unfiltered air has gotten in. But it's not something I'd be overly concerned about. It's not ideal, but I don't think that it'll kill an engine outright as long as it's caught within a reasonable period of time. But I agree on the early oil change. It's a cheap way to prevent further damage.
