Tachometer question 900 1995

I've done an experiment, which I don't know if it is conclusive. I removed the vacuum line from the booster to the manifold, plugged the manifold fittings and started to the card to see it that made a difference. The idling was just as erratic as before. Does this means the booster is okay?

Thanks for the suggestion, and do tell me if my experiment proves anything.
