1992 Volvo 960 Diagnostic code A2 socket

3-1-4 is the camshaft position sensor code. It runs off the back of the exhaust cam and has a pigtail wire with connector over by the back of the intake cam. If you dont have a scan tool you wont know if its a high or low signal so will be difficult to test. Check the wires and connectors and if they are good and clean and tight then it may be faulty.
