86 245DL Vacuum Hose Question 200

Actually I like jbowser's approach. The only hose really subject to oil deterioration is the small one for the PVC system. It is easily accessable, and short. So, get a bunch of the sizes he mentions, and replace everything. If the little PVC hose fails, well 8 inches of new hose is under two bits at AutoZone, and multi-bux at a dealer.

BTW - a little drop of ATF, dripped off the P/S dipstick, in the hose end helps it to slip over whatever is connects on to.

Good Luck,

Bob
