Oxy Sensor fault code 200 1989

Arthur,

I agree with Mike, although I think you tried the kind of cheap fix I'm apt to attempt. I don't agree with $135, unless you aren't comfortable with properly crimping and insulating wire splices reliable in an area exposed to heat. That is basically the difference between the made-to-measure exact replacement heated sensor and the universal heated sensor.

Just from memory, I doubt the ECU knew you did not have a heater connected, but it may have known the output voltage had not risen in the expected time alloted a heated sensor.
