What else to do? (long message) 200

Jim - if you decide that it isn't going anywhere, there are 3 shops down here that can be trusted and cost a lot less than any dealer.
Eurocars Plus (my friend Mark, in Groton, just down the road from FCP)

Autowerkes in New London, talk to Frank, 860-443-1066 www.theautowerkes.com

European Auto in Old Lyme, I-95 exit 71 (860)739-4894

My experience with this situation is SO negative, that I will do anything to avoid bleeding brakes. I've even posted techniques for replacing entire strut cartridges without separating brake lines. The old 240's respond really poorly to air in the lines. I have to recommend that you try to "bench bleed' the MC again (in the car, using short lines that go back into the reservoir) and after that, you've almost certainly got air stuck in the distribution block/ brake light switch down on the LF frame rail. Those things are a real PITA.

Good luck with it!
