I have a little cheapo Intel CS630 that I keep in my car or my jacket pocket or whatever, instead of carrying an expensive digital around. If the light is decent, it shoots great pictures. I'm sure it was less than a hundred bucks, and the only reason I have it is because it doubles as my video conferencing cam as well.
