Thanks for the info, I always enjoy reading your posts! I had a similar problem on my '93 240 but on the front.
No offense intended, but wouldn't it have been advisable to replace both rotors instead of replacing one and turning the other? By replacing both with the same manufacturer, and when everything is apart, both sides will more likely be consistent. (FCP groton has rear rotors for $20)
With one side new and the other near minimums, you will have to replace the older one at some point not too far off (depending of course on the number of miles and how long you want to keep the car). Also, I don't know what luck you've had with turning warped rotors, but others have reported that it was often not successful. Let us know how it goes....
