Bought an 88 745ti 700 1988

Selling a 855 for a 745?
Erwin, You just bought my exact car (179k) and I'm still happy with it though it seems to be needing something like motor mounts to smooth out the slowly evolving highway harshness. I am curious though why you are going from an 850 back to 740. I've just assumed an 855 was next up for me when the 745 has been around to long. Can I ask, is there something about 850s that you didn't care for? I'd appreciate hearing any comments you might have about owning one. This 745 of mine has never failed start imediately in five years in Minnesota. My one hitch was the aluminum cased trans wore to where it woundn't shift anymore. It was replaced with an earlier cast iron case unit and all is well. Thanks, B Allen.
