handbrake problem 700 1990

according to my bentleys the correct adjustment is when the rear tires are locked by the handbrake by the 6th to 7th click.

Park the car on a level area and put the car on drive(at idle speed), the hand brake should stop the car by the 7th click, and car should move freely when you release the handbrake.
