friction tape, remember how 'good' that was?

George,

I think you're right, I do fuzzily remember seeing the stuff packaged w/ a 3M label in the elektrikal section at Home Depot.

One of my lowest rent but actually quite "mind expanding" jobs was as inventory taker, went into places like HD at ungodly hours when no one was around. Got paid for kounting the krap but also got nice take of all the goodies modern technology was making avaiable to us living in Dino age yet w/nerve (insanity?} to try new stuff that works.

Always a pleasure getting your 2 cents, I think people and the dollar have kept their value way OK out there.

BTW any advice on 140/160 seats for the front of my '83 245, I've got a popped disk in my lower back and I remember seats from '72-74 being better constructed (firmer). I especially miss the infinitely adjustable headrests with threaded lockdowns, wasn't that a civilized idea? I'm 6'3, girlfriend is 5'4.... Was Volvo sued for some whiplash injuries by people too ignorant to tighten 'em down?
