True, but I don't consider that anything but a very temporary fix. The piece is only held in place by the metal connector. When it breaks, what is supposed to be a solid circuit ceases to be one. Yes, you canepoxy the piece on to "hold" the two pieces of metal together, but that isn't going to deliver a solid connection. It also isn't going to guarantee a solid circuit at all times, or a permanent fix.

To each his own I guess. If money is a problem I would have just bought a used one from a junkyard for $20.
