Water Pump going out?

How can I tell if my waterpump is failing? No bearing noise or wobble, no leaks. I think the flow is not what it should be. How can I test it? Also, the fan blades turn freely with no resistance after warmup... every now and then there will be some resistance. Bad fan clutch or waterpump? new tstat and flushed and filled, radiator seems to be in good shape... ?????
