Please Help, possible fire hazard!!!

Be sure the PCV system is working well. With the engine at idle, remove the oil filler cap. Then sit it back on, not locked. Lift is very gently and see if there is a vacuum trying to pull it back down. If none, the PVC system needs service. When that system gets clogged, crankcase pressure is not relieved and tends to push on all seals, some expensive to fix (rear main) and some DIY (Cam, I-shaft, and front main). Your leak sounds like it is the cam shaft seal.
