I oil change mine every 6 months, or 6000 Miles whichever comes earlier. Change the brake fluid annually, personally I wouldn't touch silicone fluid with the proverbial barge pole. There are a number of issues with it including low lubricity, immisibility with water, and high air absorbtion.

Its worth changing the back axle oil, there's no drain plug and it seldom gets done.
