02 sensor replacement 700

I have it in my mind to replace the 02 sensor in my 86'740. I have to assume that it has some degraded performance. The car has 140,000 on it and I have no idea how old the sensor is. I'm just refurbing every cogg in the LH wheel that might cause me problems later, and this seems like a rather vital ingredient to proper engine performance. Also I have emmissions testing coming up in a few months. What is the best and easiest sensor for the price that would just plug right in with no wiring hassles?
