IMO - I would buy a rebuilt Bendix or Girling caliper - whatever you decide -from FCP of Groton (they advertise here) for cheap money. I rebuilt the rear brakes on my 240 last March and bought a rebuilt ATE caliper for $30-40 - I can't remember exactly how much.

I have a friend who owns a 740 and he called them about calipers. Although they are not advertised, Nick at FCP of Groton can get rebuilt calipers for your car for cheap money....
