OD Problems 700 1987

All,

I am experiencing OD Problems, Light on, no OD home. Will not go out. It was coming on at start up but going away. Now it's on all the time, and blowing fuses. I swapped a relay out with one from I had from a junkyard no difference.
Will resolder one of them.

How does the gear shift knob come off so I can check the button. I am going underneath tonite to look at the wiring there.

This is an automatic.
