Well, usually if your O2 gets bad, you end up with a rich running condition, I think. Also, your OBD will give you a code or two. (Mixture too rich, and O2 sensor busted) so check the code first.
There's another method where you measure the resistance or something across the O2 sensor... or perhaps that was for your catalytic converter. I might be mixing things up, but this is definitely covered in the FAQ. :-)
