O2 sensor?? 700 1990

hi guys

I need to know what some symptoms of a bad O2 sensor are. Despite eliminating the hard start problem, I still have a sligtly rough idle. What would be a simple way to find out if the O2 sensor is the culprit? Would that be disconnecting it?
