Sounds like one of the sunroof cables has slipped while the other kept moving{i've had it happen, apain in the butt. The best way to fix it {not the easiest} is to remove the headliner{not fun}and then unbolt the entire sunroof assembly, and remove from car.Now you will have everything right in front of you to find the problem. You could slide the sunroof liner back, unscrew the sunroof panel, remove the panel, remove the wind deflector, remove the cable covers, and the crank assembly, but the first way is much cleaner. If you decide to remove the headliner etc.take the front seats out first or the headliner will break{hardboard backing}trying to muscle it out the door. Good luck !!! all day job
