Iwould like to know how to identify my A/C Compressor model w/o having to remove,so I can get a new clutch.

I went to Volvo dealer and the clerk said I had to purchase new compressor. He pulled up the computer parts list and it was listed, but still said I had to buy new one. He could not or would not tell me the manufacturer name so I could search for one on the net.

The one I have worked fine, cold , but is not getting power to the clutch. I have power to about 1 inch before where the wire goes behind the clutch.

Any ideas,of how to repair/replace wire or do I need to replace the whole thing?
