Check Engine Light - how to check codes 200 1989

Just got an 89 240 DL wagon. The check engine light came on. I hear there is an ECU to pull codes from. I am familiar with doing this on my 95 850 but the 240 wagon is new to me. How do I pull the codes and reset the ECU? Thanks
