164 or 242 DL and saving 5 classics

I personally wouldn't trade a 242 for a 164. The 164 is unreliable compared to a 240, especially in carburetter form. Its excesively thirsty, and handles like a pregnant hippo. A 145 is much the nicer car.

I know george is a 164 fan, but I reckon that if you want a 164 like car, buy a Mercedes, its a finished product, the 164 isn't.
