What do you guys use on your knobs? (Simple, stoopid...&etc) 200

245Ti M46....pulled out onto a fast road fast try to shift into second...and my knob came off in my hand.........

Actually I have read some posts about people's knobs coming off in their hands and usually chuckled - this is the first time I've had it happen. Scary.

Anyhow the knob is only a couple years old, the day was very hot....

Are there any magic solutions? I don't really want to glue the sucker on....what was that trick for an M46 stick?
