Radio Mounting

Does anybody know how similar the radio is in a 94 to the one that in an 85? If it's the same kind of setup, you can do what I did: I removed the original deck from the plastic box that it was mounted in, then I mounted the new deck, (also a Pioneer), inside the same plastic box. I mounted it so that the radio was angled up so that I could see it easily. In other words, the back end of the radio was almost resting on the bottom of the box, and the front near the faceplate almost touches the top of the box. Then I cut a little wedge out of a scrap piece of mahogany to take up the extra space between the front of the deck and the bottom of the box. In addition to being angled up a few degrees, the faceplate only sticks out a little bit. I usually don't have any trouble reading it.

Added bonus: I now have a nice piece of wood to knock on whenever I boast about my car's great reliability.
