My problems with Steven J. Irvine of Australia

Steven Irvine sometimes sells Volvo parts on e-Bay. He has a site at www.ozhotvolvo.com and his E-Mail is volvo162@ozhotvolvo.com. On 1/29/02 I paid him for a set of upper and lower 240 chassis braces. As of 5/1/02, I haven't received the braces. I've E-Mailed him about them many times and his response is to ask me to be patient. When I let him know that I thought I'd waited long enough and wanted a refund, he told me that shipping wasn't his problem and that I'd have to wait for 6 months. He offered to send me out another set of braces that I'd have to return at my cost if the originals ever came in. I didn't want to do this because I wonder if he ever mailed the originals, and would use this to try to get another payment from me. I instead asked for a refund and told him if the braces ever did come in that I'd repay him. He has refused. I've written this off as a lesson learned. My advice is to take my experience into consideration when dealing with him.
