nope, it's back.
It's still doing it, though it's slightly different (ooh good some variety!).
It dies at the stoplight, starts right back up with a little gas, and takes off extremely slowly, but once it gets into the higher rpm's it all of the sudden kicks in like nothing's going on.
it also still returns the error 2-3-2. It ran perfectly for a few days and did it 4 times tonight. Noteably a storm came through last night and it got signifcantly cooler (50's).
I cleaned the throttle body the other day and it runs a little better. while I had it apart I adjusted the throttle linkage and TPS as best I could, lacking a feeler gauge and instructions. I don't believe the chilton's manual says anything on how to do it right.
I haven't touched the idle control valve, though that is planned. I would guess that it is working ok, it has developed a habbit of reving just slightly when I start it. it started doing that when I cleaned the throttle body and I'm guessing the idle control valve is responsible.
It's starting to upset me, after 7 months I haven't figured it out.
how do I know if it's running rich/lean?
could it be my o2 sensor going flaky?
how do I test fuel pressure, what do I need?
what is an ECT (mentioned on other very similar 16v post)?
once again, very humble thanks,
-nate
