The diffs used in volvos are Dana 30 diffs the same as in Jeeps. A 4*4 shops can get you a LSD. The Diffs can take around 250Hp+ more if treated with respect
Here is a list of diff Ratios from Australian cars I have looked under or worked on. The engine prefix E mean injected and A means carburettors the trans perfix M400/M40/M45/M46/M51 are all manual gear boxes. 144/244/245/240 All have 4 cyl 164/264/265 have 6cyl. All 264/265 have 3:54.1 diffs fitted. I hope this post gives you enough information
