Hello,
My 740 continues to give me grief when starting it cold. I live at 2000 feet elevation and it does not give me any problems other than here at the house. The fuel pressure regulator was just replaced but the problem still exists. Yesterday it cranked, sputtered and then died....would not event sputter the rest of the day. Today I pulled the plugs and they were wet. I checked the spark at each plug wire and it was good. I dried the plugs, checked the gap, and reinstalled after letting the cylinders dry out a bit. It started right up and ran fine the rest of the day. I have read all the FAQ's and am stymied. Any ideas anyone? It starts fine warm and starts fine cold down in the flat lands. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
