Helo Steve:

If much of the oil ends up in the receiver, then perhaps the system could be opened and flushed, and new receiver, oil and gas be put in. Cost would still be under $100, much less than a complete or a "firewall forward" overhaul after the compressor dies the "black death". I will post the question at Brickboard.
