I agree with Rogul, cross-drilled and slotted for typical street use is overkill. I recently decided to upgrade the brake system on my '88 745t. And I must confess that as much as I wanted true improvement in the feel and stopping capabilities, I also was going for the look. So I went with cadmium plated cross-drilled rotors, SS lines, EBC Green Stuff pads, and ATE Super Blue fluid. I also sandblasted the calipers and painted them red. Hey, if your going to do it, you might as well go all the way! Anyway, got the rotors from www.eurosporttuning.com. Frank Derks is the man to speak to and he must have a deal with KVR b/c the rotors were sent from them so the quality appears top notch. I've bedded in the pads and have started putting them through their paces and so far I'm really enjoying them. I obviously haven't had them long enough to see how long they last. I'll throw up a post on my long-term opinion of them.
But if you decide on the rotors, check out eurosport, the rotors I received were much better than the pic on their website.
