Headlight switch- Ground Problem? 700

Hi, I have an 84 760Ti, extremelly pleased with the car, but the wiring demons are getting to me. The headlight switch in the car is off when to the left, everything on when in the middle, and off again when to the right. What should the 3 functions be? Any ideas on the fix? Thanks in advance. Grant
