Hello all,
My '65 122s appears to be running cold. With upper 30's-40's temperatures, the temp gauge never gets above the 1/3 mark. As a result, the engine struggles at lower RPMs. I have to slip the clutch in first and second gear. It only does this in the cold . Gauge goes up a little more in warmer weather, making this problem only noticeable in first gear. (It actually runs way hot in summer traffic) Plugs look good indicating a good mixture. I have a Weber carb. I have back-flushed the radiator, but I haven't checked the thermostat. Any ideas?
Thanks,
