/// I agree that you should do the cheap stuff first. Think of a vac leak that closes with temp change. If unregulated air is getting in after the metering, (behind the throtttle plate) there is not enough gas to run the engine when you open the throttle plate.
You could have some one else try to rev the car while you spray carb cleaner at the injector seals and throttle body gasket with the head. Remember that a leak is possible on the bottom too. As a last shot look at all hoses that join the throttle body. (both ends)
