heater fan changes speed with car. 700 1989

This is the craziest car I've ever owned. Tough to keep clean in the interior too. Question for the group. My heater fan varies in speed when I go faster or slower. It slows down when I go fast and then comes back to the "nornal" set speed when Idling. Anyone else seeing this?
